Job Description

Managing product qualification by performing DVP&R (Design Validation Plan and Report) based on requirements and specifications from our customers;

Plan, perform and document physical testing according to DVP;

Identify, place orders and control external testing resources;

Prepare sample parts for testing activities;

Fulfil requirements on APQP process phases (JPDS gate reviews);

The Successful Applicant

Engineering Degree in Materials, Chemistry, Physics, Mechanical or related field;

Knowledge of durability, metal fatigue, CAE analysis applied to stress, strain and vibration;

Demonstrated experience with DVP&R (Design Validation Plan and Report) and Failure Mode Analysis (DFMEA and PFMEA) (Preferential);

Knowledge of mechanical test measurement, data collection and data analysis. Familiar with surface materials characterization techniques;

Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools;

Experience with structured problem-solving tools;

Good organization and communication skills;
